Tea, Black, Loose
This is plain black tea which is in original loose leaf form. That's right, no paper tea bag, just good quality tea. That is something that you may not be aware of, that the tea in the bag form is not high quality tea like the loose leaf tea. I suppose that they figure since you can't see what is in the bag, they can go ahead and pass of a low quality tea.
Cut open a tea bag, dump it out and then compare to this loose tea and you will see that they are a world apart. The difference does not end there; as soon as you brew a cup, you will taste the difference!
This is how tea is meant to be drank and exactly how it was sold and drank back in the frontier days. All you need is a "tea ball" or a "tea strainer", hot water, and you are set to enjoy one of the human pleasures that spans centuries.
Imported from England, possibly in the cargo hold of a clipper ship, but more likely via container ship; well, we can always daydream. Packaged in 2 ounce and 4 ounce paper bundles with an outer trilaminate, heat sealed pouch with an oxygen absorber.
