Original Palco two quart aluminum canteen in original box with original cloth cover. This canteen is in very good condition, but not like new; I rate it a 4 out of 5. 
 
This particular unit is one of the older production models with the aluminum cap instead of the plastic cap. I estimate this unit to have been produced from about 1945 to 1970 more or less. The cloth cover is in very good original condition with very light rips, tears or unravelling, but nothing major. The canteen body has no corrosion dents, dings, scrapes or any other damage which is visible with the cover on (I did not remove the cover).
 
The cover has a name written on it in ink. All in all, this is a very good canteen with no major, only light cosmetic flaws and is ready to join you in your next classic camping adventure.
