Original Palco two quart aluminum canteen in original box with original cloth cover. This canteen is in New Old Stock condition meaning that although it is very old, it was never sold and is in original unsold condition. 
 
This particular unit is one of the older production models with the aluminum cap instead of the plastic cap. I estimate this unit to have been produced from about 1945 to 1970 more or less. The cloth cover is in excellent original condition with no rips, tears or unravelling. The canteen body has no corrosion dents, dings, scrapes or any other damage.
 
Any blemishes if any are going to be the usual storage and handling marks such as scuffing or light staining from being in the box for possibly up to 75 years. All in all, this is a great canteen with no flaws and is ready to join you in your next classic camping adventure.
