Cutlery set, Bone handles, carbon steel L,F&C
Original Landers, Frary & Clark "Universal" cutlery cutlery. Set of one fork and one knife from a matching set. Carbon steel, bone handles with cast in place pewter bolsters.
These are in what I call "Grade 3 out of 5, Good condition". They are not like new and show wear from use, but they are also not heavily worn or otherwise damaged. They are what I would call a typical working condition.
My estimate for their year of manufacture is most likely around 1910 to 1930. These are in nice looking condition and I am certain that with a little work on a buffing wheel with some rouge, these will look fantastic and really shine.
I have these listed under two options: shows wear and no signs of wear. What this means is that the right two tines on some of the forks have uneven wear as a sign of repeated use. The other ones don't show this wear, as I assume they were seldomly used; your choice.
Look closely at the photos and you can see both represented. These two piece sets are being broken up from an original large, complete set, so I have several that are all more or less identical. You will receive one at random within the condition category that you choose.
As always, don't worry; if you don't like it, you may return it for a full refund, no questions asked!
